This is an open event, welcoming both old and new bookclub friends, and guests. This event is a chance to step outside your literary comfort zone and explore new authors, genres, and stories that you might not typically try. **Here’s how it works:** 1. **Payment:** Pay **$100 HKD** via FPS or PayMe - this includes a book and a drink. 2. **Choose Your Book:** Select from our curated collection of preloved wrapped books, each with a post-it note offering clues about its contents. 3. **Enjoy a Drink:** Get a drink of your choice - coffee, tea, or something else - while you choose. 4. **Book Exchange Option:** After unwrapping your book, you can exchange it with other attendees if someone is willing to trade. Hi all! This season is just right for beach volleyball! This event is open to beginners who are eager to explore the sport but have had limited chances to play. Basic skills will be taught before diving into an exciting game. Experienced players are also warmly invited to share their expertise and make the evening even more enjoyable. Let's also hop to Kwai Chung Plaza for local food. # This is a great experience - and one we would like to take advantage of whilst the temperature is at its best for an exposed route. Join us for a stunning lakeside stroll that transitions into the Xiangshan Cloud Path. This 11km route is as smooth as it is beautiful, featuring gentle slopes that wind through the trees above a reservoir and over to the coast. **The Highlights:** Panoramic lake vistas, rock formations, lush greenery with flowering trees, finishing with sweeping views of the harbour and beach. We should end our walk around 3:00 PM near the beach. You can dive into a meal at a local restaurant or enjoy a packed lunch on the sand. **Logistics:** We’ll take taxis to and from the port, making the round-trip journey from Hong Kong nice and easy. Return: Once again, we will use taxis to return to the port area and reverse journey to Hong Kong and your buses home. **Important Hike Details** Total distance: 12.5 km Total Ascent: 350m (quite gentle slopes, spread out over the walk) Pace: Easy walking pace with breaks for rest and photos. Surface: Paved. Bring: Water/ energy drinks; snacks; hat; insect repellent; valid travel documents; Umbrella (just in case); Mobile Phone/Camera **YOU MUST have a valid China travel card, China Visa or hold an eligible passport to travel to China for this trip.**
